Grafisch-Fotografische serie “Mirror … mirror on the wall, who has the most precious art in the hall?”

Een reeks grafisch-fotografische monumentale werken (260x162cm elk) met specifiek beeldmateriaal dat de grenzen van abstractie en figuratie opzoekt in dramatische composities van eenvoudige regelmatige meetkundige vormen.
Inhoudelijk refereren deze werken aan Plato's Allegorie van de grot: is wat we zien en ervaren de werkelijkheid of een afspiegeling van de werkelijkheid?
Vandaar ook de overkoepelende en licht ironische titel voor de reeks: een variant naar een zin uit een bekend sprookje …

De werken worden uitgevoerd in een oplage van maximum 9 exemplaren. Ze worden geprint op hoogwaardig kunstprintpapier met hoogwaardige inkten. Hun formaat is telkens 161 cm x 262 cm. In privé ruimtes worden ze enkel bovenaan bevestigd aan de muur. In publieke ruimtes is er ook een bevestiging onderaan.
Het is mogelijk werken te vervaardigen aangepast aan een specifieke vraag/ruimte.
